if Ballarat and/or trenthan were suburbs of sydney you'd be right too
“For My thoughts are not your thoughts,
Nor are your ways my ways,” says the Lord.

“For as the heavens are higher than the earth,
So are my ways higher than your ways,
And my thoughts than your thoughts."

Yahweh? or the great Clawski?

Crow Ricky Henderson looms as trade bait despite being contracted to 2015. He's prepared to return home to Victoria.

I haven't seen too much of him, but looked pretty good when I did catch him.

According to Barrett on the Sunday Footy Show:

* North's leadership group met with Dal Santo during the week.

* All of Geelong's senior players bar Enright are out of contract.

* GWS and Melbourne are willing to trade their respective first picks (#1 & #2). Barrett mentioned something about Sylvia too.

Tom Browne from Ch 7 on twitter:

@TomBrowne7 - "Trade news hotting up, can confirm the #giants will offer Fremantle the coveted number one draft pick for nat fyfe"

I laugh at the last bit because:

a) Melbourne don't need another KPF and it would be lolworthy for them to neglect the midfield again.

b) Sylvia is a FA and doesn't need to be traded.

Ch 7 news tonight claiming Melbourne are offering Heath Shaw $2m over 4 years.

Podsiadly will be "surprisingly" axed by Geelong.

Hawthorn is chasing Mumford.

gee i hope thats skata or the Pies win out yet again.

I dont believe melbourne would entertain that given the afl have a say in what they do.

after the dawes debacle can they be that dumb to hand them another top 20 pick

I didn't think Pods done much this year so I'm not that surprised about him being delisted or retiring. They will need Hawkins to be back fully fit next year to help develop a second tall though.

Pods surprises me a little. He only kicked 33 goals this year but he also spent some chunks of time in the Def50.

Seems like they're taking a youth policy now and culling some old blokes. They've got lots of young talent anyhow.
