RICHMOND

GET the feeling Richmond has its cue in the trades rack after a hectic start saw Matt White (off to Port Adelaide) and Shaun Hampson's arrival from Carlton. The Tigers don't have any salary cap room to make a big play following a series of re-signings including Dustin Martin, Reece Conca and Jack Riewoldt. Richmond is not interested in Paul Chapman.

ESSENDON will insist on Fremantle's second-round pick for Scott Gumbleton, but has all but given up the chase for Saint Leigh Montana.

Jay Clarke says that Scott Gumbleton should be going to Dockers for pick 33, giving Freo the 25 year old centrepiece its forward line needs. Got big tick in medical.

Melbourne is targeting Adelaide youngster Jarryd Lyons, the 21-year-old Victorian who has played 12 games since making his debut in round five, 2012. Having met with 28-year-old Adelaide midfielder Bernie Vince on Friday, the Demons are also contemplating trying to attract the contracted Lyons.

I'd love to see Gumbleton stay injury free now and reach his pick 3 potential.  :lol

Imagine the Bumber fans reactions.

Melbourne, North Melbourne and Essendon have been named as the three clubs interested in Adelaide's Bernie Vince. The Advertiser reports that Melbourne could offer pick 20 for Vince, whilst Essendon could do a straight swap with key forward Scott Gumbleton and North would likely need to offer more than it's pick 26.

Crow Shaun McKernan has been linked to St Kilda this morning with the Herald Sun reporting the Saints are amongst those interested.

West Coast have formally offered Brisbane their second round pick for Elliott Yeo. The Lions are yet to accept the deal.

ESSENDON will insist on Fremantle's second-round pick for Scott Gumbleton,

If Freo gives up their second round pick for Grumblebum they are ****ing insane !
He has played 30 odd games in seven years and only one or two of those games were any good. He's pox !
If that deal goes through it won't make me feel so bad about us giving up a second round pick for a Carlton reserves player.

A little bit of a detour but it's amazing that North are putting together such a high-profile team.
Geoff Walsh - Football Manager - from Collingwood.
Leigh Tudor - Assistant Coach - from Sydney/St Kilda.
Gavin Brown - Assistant coach - from Carlton/Collingwood VFL.
Cameron Ling - Leadership Consultant - from Geelong.

Meanwhile we are not replacing Leppitsch directly but are adding Bailey as a development coach.
I've got a sneaky feeling that the cost of upgrading Punt Road to VFL game standard is costing us in coaching staff.

Petrenko? Spud. I'm interested in getting Alex Conti as that hit up half forward we really need.

It's a two tier competition – the haves and the have nots
The haves spend what they like because they can afford it
The have nots spend what they like because the AFL picks up the tab
And Richmond is the eternal spit roast

He didn't mention Conti, he must have agreed to terms with Fremantle after his solid game in the grand final.
