North Melbourne has joined Collingwood in the chase for out-of-contract Brisbane Lions midfielder Patrick Karnezis.

AFL.com.au understands North has put forward pick No. 47 as a possible trade option for Karnezis which is a pick ahead of Collingwood's.

That trade has evened up the McEnvoy trade.

I reckon he is and I rate Conca, except for his kicking.

Agree he's better than Conca, not Ellis though - suspect a lot of people still don't realise just how good Ellis is/will be.

Perception is a funny thing isn't it?

I rate Conca a lot higher than Ellis, a lot higher

So much so I'd trade Ellis to GWS for picks 1 or 2 without hesitation.... that's what i mean about the club being daring  ;D

Personally I thought Ellis was fantastic last season. Not every game but he was very good for a kid, a lot better with ball in hand than Conca. Conca is obviously harder. He's tough and Ellis is very much outside but that doesn't matter as long as he puts his head over it when it's his turn. He did that this year. Got involved more than 2012.

LMAO at it being daring to trade Ellis for pick 1 or 2 :lol He's a good player but that's ridiculous WP. GWS would be wanting more than that.
