1. Never underestimate a woman.
2. Speed and O'Shaunessy have her back and I am sure their input and the other board members input will carry weight.
3. This appointment will be seen as rogue yet unusual but in a smart move this opens a new market for us in attracting extra women as members as well. So from a marketing ploy ding ding.

I could not give a toss if we win a flag under her tenure I will celebrate it just as hard as I would if a bloke was President. Kudos to her and good luck. If anything in a time of crisis or in a time of success and joy a woman just knows what to say to keep you grounded or peed off whilst at the same time being proud or dirty on you whatever the situation. Just think of your mothers. :thumbsup

A female president and a lawyer to boot. . Ring a ding ding.   ::)

Lets hope she's better than our last female premier and/or prime minister.

And most of all I hope this doesn't mean our team will continue to play like Sheila's. I want to see some real mongrel coming from her let the boys know they will be playing in skirts if they lose to the scum again.

Congratulations to her. Glad other contestants got behind her. Extremely important to have board room unity. Hope she follows the approach of March in office. It appears from reading her CV that she has principally worked in middle tier law firms and hopefully her considerable experience in the superannuation industry brings a cautious approach to the job. Good luck to her. The statement on the RFC website that she is one of Australia's best lawyers is a tad over the top.

I'm really comfortable with this appointment.  First class CV and shows the rest of the board are prepared to make decisions based on what they think is best for the club rather than just following some mindless and selfish protocol such as 'it's my turn'.  Just another rung in the ladder of confidence I have in the future of our club.   :clapping   :gotigers
