Im thinking of flying up and spending the week there with the family, need all the support the boys can get 

Though im really jot that keen on flying

Statistically speaking you are more likely to arrive alive flying to the GC than driving there, if that's what your concern is.
If you can get the courage up, fares are $55 on Tiger and $59 on Jetstar around that date if you're flexible with times.
At those prices I'm thinking of a quick little weekender up there

Not sure why, as a kid didnt bother me. As an adult its one of the only things I really dont enjoy
