Looks great now. Last time I was there it was Carrara in about '89, a mud bog and Footscray thumped the Bears  one of my earliest memories. I was only about 3 

We're looking at a GC holiday around then too so might time it to get to this game.

Why would that first Saturday not have a night game? One of the biggest time slots. 

Probably because round 1 is split over 2 weeks and they have to appease the TV networks in filling all time slots over the 2 week period

Wouldn't be at all surprised if it's a Fox Footy game and not in FTA
