I think he's got Newmans spot in the seniors.

Let's hope he takes the opportunity afforded him and adds another dimension to the teams progression to finals success, he's definitely got the skills let's hope he has the want.

Lennon on ‘Roar Vision’ after re-signing ...

“I suppose the longer it dragged out, the more people started to speculate. But, in my mind, I was always going to stay at Richmond."

“I love the Club . . . get along really well with all the coaches and all the boys, in particular. So, really happy to be here, and can’t wait for the next two years.”

“I was pretty pleased, playing those last eight games . . . Obviously, it would have been good to play the last game, but it’s going to hold me in good stead and make me a bit more determined to take on next year and, hopefully, hold a spot,” he said.

“I’ve spoken to a few people and a lot of players have missed out on finals games before and come back and played in other finals games and even played in Grand Finals.

“So, it’s not going to make me any less of a player, it’s only going to make me a better player, I think.

“I’m just really looking forward to next year.”

I know this is stating the bleeding obvious but it's sounds like he is filthy about missing the final. I haven't got a problem with that, it tells me the kid is hungry to play and probably thinks he deserved a game before Dimma pick two guys that hadn't even been playing let alone been playing well. I know he is still young and he doesn't get to make match committee decisions but it's only natural to be disappointed if your club seems to go back on what it stands for.
Anyway I hope he continues to do his boxing training over the off season as he did this year as it can only help get him and his body to the next level.
And if he got some extra coin throughout this period, well good on him and I hope he earns it plus some.
Could be anything imo.
Gunna admit parts of this kids game have left me scratching my head. yet what he does well leaves you wondering at just what we have. I suppose like most 2nd 3rd year players they do some things real well others they are poor in. WORK WORK AND WORK BECOME A WELL ROUNDED BETTER PLAYER. Dont give the no hopers in charge an excuse to not play ya.
H e was a worthy 1st round pick it would be a shame if he doesnt utilise his potential in all areas.

The talk he rates himself much higher than Dimma thinks he should and therefore is way ahead of himself is a double edged sword.
The self belief should be of benefit but knuckling down and applying himself is hopefully something the coach is able to get out of him.
Apparently they don't get along, 2016 should be interesting  ;D
“I find it nearly impossible to make those judgments, but he is certainly up there with the really important ones, he is certainly up there with the Francis Bourkes and the Royce Harts and the Kevin Bartlett and the Kevin Sheedys, there is no doubt about that,” Balme said.

not sure about that.

plenty of top line footballers, or sportsman for that matter, are humble, but still have the required self belief to be at the top of their field.
