Next goal
“Yeah, I think I’ve made progress.  I’ve gotten a lot bigger since I got here, and learned a lot of the structures, and what it takes to play AFL footy.  So, hopefully next year, I can play a few more games and cement a spot in the team.”

Looking forward to seeing this kid in 2015.
I love the fact he has been doing boxing. It will give him added confidence in every aspect.
I just hope DH lets him settle into a position and not chop and change him. Certain players need to be left to work it out, moving him from position to position won't help his development IMO.
He is not going to get big numbers but his touches will be quality. Good luck to him and I hope he cements a post early during preseason. Our forwardline needs real help IMO.

AFL 2015 season: Who is the next Ollie Wines and Jack Macrae? Second-year breakout contenders

Gilbert Gardiner and Ben Higgins

BEN LENNON — Richmond

2013 Draft: Pick No. 12

2014: 7 games, avg. 8 disposals

The Tigers took the softly, softly approach with Lennon in his debut year, starting him in the sub’s vest five times in his seven games. However, the young gun has talent to burn and plenty of speed, which the Tigers will hope to unleash in 2015. Lennon averaged just eight touches last year but isn’t the type of player that needs a lot of the ball to hurt the opposition. Lennon picked up 16 disposals at 82 per cent, eight marks and three tackles in just his second game as Richmond beat GWS.

'Plenty of speed' eh?

Seriously some of these scribes actually do not know what they're writing about.
