Hmm, i thought it was Yahweh, but considering the things i was told to do..........
“For My thoughts are not your thoughts,
Nor are your ways my ways,” says the Lord.

“For as the heavens are higher than the earth,
So are my ways higher than your ways,
And my thoughts than your thoughts."

Yahweh? or the great Clawski?

Still only 20 years old.
He plays as a medium to tallish forward which means he his body still has a way to go to be able to compete 1 on 1 in the air with more seasoned opposition backman. Going along nicely IMO and from the outside looking in, seems to be doing most things right.
We used our first pick on him so let's give him a block of games for him to show us all why we drafted him where we did. And no better time to start than now with every game we play.

Agree but has enough attributes to go thru the middle in time.
Not as much X factor as S Johnson Geez i hate that term. But he reminds me a little bit of him much better in the air than Johnson.

How the eff does he not get a game???

There has to be a non football related reason.

It started being dropped for the final which was astounding at the time.

And now he's still on the outer.

He should have left when he could.

Suffering from Crappius Coachus aka Hardwickitus...usually a result of being too young & too talented and not being a recycled hack that needs games in order to justify Blair Hartley's position and his much vaunted Moneyball approach that he stole from a Hollywood movie about Baseball...

Let's face it, it couldn't be that hard to be one of Hardwicks favourites, you don't even have to be good at footy (see Hampsud, Morris etc. ) A blind man and his dog can see that Lennon has some footy tricks but he mustn't be doing what Dumma likes to see during training etc. I suspect he's either lazy or just looks as though he's cruising at half pace. I also suspect his defensive efforts are not up to standards too.
As far as I could tell Newmans spot was his if he wanted it but if your a decent player but can't get a gig in this squad there's got to be something wrong with attitude.

Yes - because Newman was such a hard working & accountable footballer who was known for his defensive efforts....

But he trained the house down.
My point is there's got to be an attitude issue. There's no other logical reason why he can't get a game.

I personally think that the selection of Morris is worse.
What possible explanation was there for making this decision?
“I find it nearly impossible to make those judgments, but he is certainly up there with the really important ones, he is certainly up there with the Francis Bourkes and the Royce Harts and the Kevin Bartlett and the Kevin Sheedys, there is no doubt about that,” Balme said.

Was first on the track today and looked super keen
Reckon they made a decision during training to play Short instead

Why do you think this was the case? Was short exceptional at drills & was Lennon spraying them all over the place?

You are massively overrating him, he is not ready.
