Yeah McBean's another who apparently doesn't run hard enough, lacks second efforts and "needs to work on his defensive game"....and of course we all know what gut-running, one percenters & tackling machines Vickery & Griffiths both are...

You've gotta be in Hardwicks clique to get picked.

Who is Dimma accountable to?

We have our no 1 draft pick, plays ok, we pooted our pants when he was not going to resign, he resigns for 2 years (??) now we dont play him, wtf is going on here?

It is obvious to all lennon should be playing and it is dimmas pride or rubbish getting in the way???

The defensive side of Lennons game is poor
Alright when we have ball
Ordinary when we haven't
Needs to improve in this area to get a game your will find

Exactly, needs to improve on his defensive pressure before he is consistently playing AFL. Short and Rioli obviously offer more in that regard then Lennon at the moment.

How much say does Hardwick have in match selections out of curiousity? Just as much as the other chumps that sit in the committee?

I understand that this is the case (not defensive enough). He needs to provide as much defensive pressure as Gunston provides at the Hawks. They want him to play the same game as Jack Gunston. In his 3rd year of AFL footy and first at Hawthorn, Gunston played 19 games and had 29 tackles for the year (~1.5 tackles per game). He then increases his tackle count to around 2 tackles per game over the next 3 years.
Ben played 7 games for 4 tackles in 2014 and 9 games for 7 tackles last year.
So he just needs to lift that intensity a notch. We know he will never be a tackle machine but he just has to dial it up a little. I hope he does as he is a huge talent and I'm a big fan.
OER. Calling it as it is since 2004.

Look all I know is Lennon kicked 4 in a losing and poor team performance from what I gather last week (VFL Practice)
What did short do?
All well and good on the defencive stuff, but looks like the game may be changing a bit and we cant go wrong trying to up our scoring.
Is Short a goal kicker? Dimma better get up with the times pretty quick.
The Bullfrogs attack the ball like nothing else but they also take it on, dont think we are doing this as much as we should to keep up with the rest of the teams that may be going past us.
Our lack of recruiting (Some REAL talent) worries me also, time is NOW not later.
Hope Im am way off but Im really worried this year, hopefully the boys can put a bit of that doubt to rest tonight  :gotigers :cheers

When it comes to strong characters, look no further than Bellis. He's the sort of guy who looks like he would get poot done

pretty sure he has actually done that a few times during games
“For My thoughts are not your thoughts,
Nor are your ways my ways,” says the Lord.

“For as the heavens are higher than the earth,
So are my ways higher than your ways,
And my thoughts than your thoughts."
