Would be great to see him play every game for the rest of the season!
Not if he's ball watching or lazy.

Hope he pulls his finger out and takes the opportunity now.

Lennon, 20, had 11 disposals, including three rebound-50s and took eight marks in what was his 17th appearance at the game’s highest level.

“Ben’s been a little bit up and down.  When he gets the ball offensively, he’s certainly very creative," Hardwick said.

“We feel we need to get him into the side.  We’re just probably shuffling him at the moment, trying to find out that best position.

“At AFL level, we’ve trialled him up forward at various stages and he’s gone okay.  But I think we saw something with him down back yesterday (last Saturday).

“He took a couple of chop-out marks, used the ball incredibly well off the back half, and started a number of scoring chains.

I find these comments a bit hard to comprehend to tell you the truth.

Why has Ben been up and down? Simply because YOU Damien won't play him consistently and when he was hitting some form last year leading into the finals you dropped him so WTF??

You are also shuffling him around and you can't understand why he has been "a little up and down", really, do you have a clue?

AFL 2016 Training - Richmond 260516
Ben Lennon at Richmond training last week.
Richmond forward Ben Lennon will have surgery this week on the AC joint in his right shoulder.

Lennon suffered the injury at training last week and will undergo minor clean-up surgery.

Richmond’s General Manager of Football, Dan Richardson, said the 20-year-old would be sidelined for 4-6 weeks.

“Ben is a talented young player who we rate very highly, and unfortunately hasn’t been able to get a lot of continuity in his football this season,” Richardson said.

“The Club will continue to support him with his rehab, he’ll overcome this setback and return to be an important player for us in the back end of the season.”

Another wasted year in terms of development.
Not good for your first round pick from a couple weeks of years ago.
Add that to BEllis and Conca and we haven't really got much decent top end talent in of recent years.

Dont know why they dont just put him on the LTIL, we all know you double whatever the initial estimate is.

If you put someone on the LTIL then they can't play for 8 weeks even if they recover faster than expected.
