geez carlton and essendon where will they finish. ill do some basic stats on them.
first carlton best 22 give or take ,  plus depth in    2014 imo.

B:    Walker 27yo/165gms/ 190cm/90kg  -  Jamison 27yo/118gms / 193cm/98kg  -  Tuohy 24yo/54gms / 187cm/91kg

HB: Scotland 33yo/264gms /  182cm/82kg  -  Watson 21yo/16gms  / 195cm / 100kg -  Everitt 25yo / 79gms / 194cm / 89kg

C:   Carazzo 30yo /164gms /  187cm / 85kg -  Mclean 28yo/141gms  /  184cm/85kg  -  Gibbs 25yo/155gms  / 188cm/86kg

HF: Thomas 26yo/157gms / 185cm/86kg - Henderson 24yo/84gms  /  196cm/96kg  -  Robinson 24yo/88gms  /  185cm/86kg

 F:  Garlett 24yo/98gms  /  180cm/75kg  -  Waite 31yo/168gms  /  194cn/95kg  -   Kruezer 24yo / 105gms  / 200cm/103kg

INT: Simpson 29yo/200gms  /  182cm/79kg  - Curnow 24yo/51gms  182cm/84kg  - Bell 22yo/16gms 187cm/96kg  -  Yarran 23yo/84gms  /  180cm/84kg

  Menzel 19yo/7gms 187cm / 78kg  / Cripps 18yo/0gms 193cm/81kg  -  Lucas 22yo /188cm/83kg   -  Docherty  20yo/13gms / 184cm/84kg  -  Mcinnes  22yo/16gms / 191cm/87kg.
Armfield 27yo/105gms  / 181cm/82kg -  Graham 19yo/2gms / 182cm 80kg.  Duigan  29yo/43gms/186cm/88kg.

the top 22 has lots of height and size.it has heaps of experience with a lot of players in the mature up  age bracket, and theres a lot of 100 plus gamers. imo its a flexable side as well with the tall options.
experience games and  age wise they need to make finals, they have very good structure but they lack numbers overall in talls ruck/kpd/kpf  right across the board. they can ill afford a poor run of injury to their talls. imo like a lot of sides lack of depth and the lack of  games in to enough younger blokes will probably catch em out.

will do essendon later.

Why dont you just post your perfect side then we can all see what you're actually aiming at. No names just the stats, positions etc  feel free to do an allstar team..i would for one would love to see what you come up with..  Something for all teams to aim for.
tsk tsk little bengal. no need for all the angst.
all ive done is put up the carlton side on a prediction thread, after a couple of posters were debating who would finish higher between them carlton and essendon.
ive put up age games played height and size nothing more. it at least gives those debating the two teams an idea of where those teams are at structurally and age experience wise.

you know little bengal if all you want to read is how good we are i suggest you go to the rfc site. sheesh.

as i said id do essendon

b:  baguelly 26yrs/28gms / 181cm/83kg - hurley 23yrs/79gms/ 195cm/97kg -  fletcher 38yrs/378gms / 198cm/93kg

hb: hibberd 24yo/44gms / 187cm/90kg - hooker 25yo/88gms / 197cm/98kg - dempsey 26yo/88gms / 187cm/85kg.

c:  stanton 27yo/203gms / 185cm/85kg - zaharakis 24yo/87gms / 185cm/85kg - heppell 21yo/62gms / 189cm/85kg
r:  bellchambers 24yo/61gms / 202cm/110kg - watson 29yo/173gms / 191cm/95kg - myers 24yo/65gms / 191cm92kg

hf: winderlich 29yo/112gms / 188cm/82kg - carlisle 22yo/49gms / 200cm/98kg - goddard 28yo/227gms / 189cm/94kg

f : ryder 26yo/149gms / 197cm/94kg - daniher 20yo/5gms / 201cm/94kg - chapman 32yo/ 251gms / 179cm/89kg.

int: howlett 25yo/76gms / 180cm/80kg - hocking 26yo/97gms / 186cm/88kg - melksham 22yo/80gms / 186cm/84kg - merrett 21yo/14gms / 187cm/80kg

just 3 juniors,  5 with less than 50 games. basically 8 100 gamers, with 9 having played between 50 and 99games.
plenty of height and a lot of size.
the ave games played is just on 110gms per player. the ave age is 25.5.
so quality aside,  as we can argue all day about who is good and who isnt and do argue about these things. they have  very good structure  are mature and experienced. with that 22 top 8 is a must if not top 4.
like most sides depth is a concern as has been shown the last two or three yrs when injuries have hit aplenty.

combined rfc cfc team geez if lucky it might win a flag or two.
based mainly on performance and  maintaining proper positions and structure.  with a little bit of potential thrown in.

b:  morris 25yo/43gms 185/83  - jamison 27yo/118gms /193/98 -  chaplin 28yo/162gms 195cm/99kg. imo jamison is one of the most reliable one v one players in the comp and a monty for f/b.

hb: vlastuin 19yo/18gms / 187/87 - henderson 24yo/84gms / 196/96 - gibbs 25yo/155gms / 188/86 . flossy on potential, prefer henderson over rance. imo rance was fighting with chaplin.could have picked any one of many for gibbs spot that are in the team.

C: murphy 26yo/165gms / 180/82 - judd 30yo/259gms / 189/89 - deledio 26yo/195gms / 188/88.
R: maric 28yo/118gms / 201/102 - martin 22yo/86gms 187/89 - cotchin 23yo/108gms / 185/85.  sort of speaks for itself. chose maric over warnock because he offers more around the ground and when the ball hits the ground.also an option forward.

hf: garlett 24yo/98gms / 178/76 - riewoldt 25yo/134gms 195/94 - thomas 26yo/157gms / 185/86. garlett is the stand out small forward on both lists. thomas is a very good forward coming off his ankle maybe the place to ease him in. hes a very good mid.

F: walker 27yo/165gms / 190/90 - waite 31yo/168gms / 195/95 - kruezer 24yo/105gms / 200/103. an all carlton line it does highlight the lack of established forwards at richmond.
chose walker because of his height and marking prowess. plays like a medium.  a real hard match up and hes kicked 50 in a season. waite love him or hate him is the next best kp  forward behind jack. kruezer is easily the best ruck/forward option.

int: simpson 29yo/200gms 182/79 - carazzo 30yo/164gms / 187/87  - ellis 20yo/42gms / 181/81 - then take your pick jackson,scotland, mcclean, conca and others.

Henderson over floss you having a giggle
i reckon if you spoke to most non richmond people they would take henderson over rance. i dont let my allegiances get in the way of facts. so no im not having a giggle i rate henderson a better player.
