Half that melbourne team went 110% to earn a spot. No surprise Miles was near to our BOG if he wasn't already and the rest of the blokes were just blowing out cobwebs.

Last 2 games Newmans played he's broken down.
One was a final and one a nab schitta.
Body no good.
Waste of a spot.
Put to sleep.
Caracella and Balmey.

disgraceful performance all up. theres no excuse to lose to that rabble who had about 10 players out. joke of a performance and shows we are still not professional when we need to be and have a long way to go to reach the ruthlessness of the top sides.

It is a poor article (Frawley good fit for Richmond) because there is no evidence that Richmond is any closer to a flag now - than they were 10 years ago.

Richmond are built on hype, but they lack leadership, this is evident. MFC have far more leadership than Richmond, far more.  :lol

The only thing is, our leadership sits in the stands. Dawes and Clark are leaders, once they get on the field, combined with Grimes, Jones, the recent addition of Cross, Vince and the uprising of Viney and Toumpas, there is no logical being that would leave MFC - in order to play at Richmond.  :lol

We might be perceived in the media to be no-hopers at present, but with a fully fit list, we will actually stand for something, especially under Roos.

On Richmond, the only leader they have desperately wanted out - in Martin, he should've followed his instincts as well.  :lol

Richmond are the most overrated club in recent times, they are gunners.

Nearly was going to make the trip up to see the game, luckily I didn't.

Not because of the loss, because it was of the most boring games i've ever seen. The massive Melbourne flood, the chip kicking all over the place.

We didn't get a hell of a lot of the ball, so it's hard to get much out of the game.

Miles was great, Houli good, Griff showed a bit, Vickery looked dangerous. We were too big up forward and desperately need a couple of little fellas running around in there.

And you may not think I care for you

Pets are safe for now as the entire Melbourne supporter base are in the two bays behind the goals. They'll have a key party on the way out in their gum boots and Land Rovers then rush home to catch some winter Olympics because they just can't wait till June.

Just throwing it out there, if we had the balls to move Hardwick and bring in Roos instead of extending his contract last time we would have won the flag this year.
