The Big O may need to be elevated if Maric is out for the first half of the season....

Miles over Thomas for mine but both were impressive

Also badly need line breaking pace and more depth in the backline, which is where Banfumbles & Darrou come into play...if only they'd actually come in to play.

Thomas is this year's Lonergan.

True my bad. Sure looks the part to me regardless.

Would really like to see Darrou and Elton next match. Got big bodies.

I think they will elevate Miles and Thomas.  They can also elevate the big O if Maric is put on the LTI list.

So in essence they could elevate all three.
OER. Calling it as it is since 2004.

Hardwick said the Tigers had to make a tough decision in the coming weeks, with a number of rookies in the mix for elevation, including Matt Thomas and Anthony Miles, who both performed well in Wangaratta.

“(We) got them to the club because they hunt the ball ... they contributed well,” he said of the pair.

“We will make decisions over the next few weeks (about) who gets elevated before the season. (Orren) Stephenson and (Ben) Darrou are also in contention. (We have) lots of guys battling for positions.”

I'd go for Angus Graham.

While both Miles and Thomas would be in front on form alone out of all our rookies, I can't see the Club promoting both of them given as inside mids they play the same role. I'll reckon will promote the Big O, with Ivan out for a while especially if he has surgery, along with Miles.

Big O could always get elevated anyway if Ivan needs to go on the LTI
