Il take vickers on 1 leg than that spud Hampspud
i wouldnt hampson every day of the week thanks  and ive bitched about hampson just as much as you or anyone else.
is replacing duds with duds really the answer. hampson at least performs one role in the ruck what does vickery do again.
we would have been better off playing stephenson than  giving that hack another game without earning it.
why not something different play elton and give griffiths the second ruck role anything would be better than old peaheart himself.
it rea;lly is a merry go round.

Not necessarily a bad thing at the moment....

Haha thought the same thing.

The Round 12 Tiger team

B:  Chaplin, Batchelor, Rance
HB:  Houli, Dea, Morris
C:  Lennon, Cotchin, Petterd
HF:  Martin, Griffiths, Deledio
F:  S. Edwards, Riewoldt, Vickery
R:  Maric, Ellis, Thomas
IC:  McDonough, Foley, Vlastuin, Miles

Emergencies: Hampson, Helbig, O’Hanlon

--------------------------------------------------------

I'm glad Hampson is out. With Maric back as No.1, there's no place for Hampson as he can't hold a mark to play forward (he can't play full stop :yep). Having said that, bringing in another tall forward/ruck makes no sense either as the combo of Jack, TV and Griffs hasn't worked all season. We end up too top heavy up forward as our small forwards are non-existent to apply defensive forward line pressure. Especially on the fast track at Etihad, you can get heavily burned on the opposition defensive rebound. To give it even a chance of working, we would need Griffs as the 2nd ruck option and when he's not in the ruck he needs to play up the ground between wing and HF (the Richo 2008 role) as a tall marking target for our defenders to rebound kick to and then Griffs quickly bombs a 60m kick deep to Jack or TV which smalls front and square at their feet. The idea of quick transition from defence to attack to a more balanced traditional forward line structure. I won't be holding my breath for that to happen though  :scream.

Miles, Vlaustin, Petterd ...

Like Petterd or not, all of these three will have a dip at least.

I'm glad Nathan Gordon isn't in this time. Hopefully delisted at years end. Soft soft and soft.

Agree but I'll take a quicker version of Houli over Houli himself.

I'd take a cardboard cut out of Nick Lower over Houli.

id be happy with a decent player,  doesnt  have to be  special just a bloke who does all of the basics well.
if we must play players with chronic weaknesses  play those who have a decent crack at it.

Vickery was a standout last week

He has a presence up forward at vfl level

I would take Tyrone over Hampson in the senior team. He is agile and more or less u tested in the ruck allowing Ivan to go forward. He does good things around the ground in comparison with Hampson - who is like being a player short at times

Elton is a good option too

The big o shouldn't play again
