we cant trade krak, he is to valuabkle to us even when he dosnt get the ball, look against port , his hard work in the scrums was one of teh biggest reasons why we cam back, his tackling was ferocious and its a shame tha for a small kid he is the best tackler in our team

Possession of the ball wins games of football for that is where the scoring comes from and for my money Krak does not get enough of the ball to warrant a place in the team
defensive skills and pressure are also important, and how th ehell do u know that krak wasnt given th ejog to tag and negate! u dont know what his tasks were in th egame on teh weekend!  it was only a few weeks ago he was killing it and everyone was worshipping him

To be fair none of us know what his role was on the weekend but he was beside Peter Burgoyne quite a fair bit yet Burgoyne got plenty of it and was influential in Port winning.

I'm not saying Krakouer should be traded but he lets himself down with inconsistency. You either walk away after a match going great stuff Andy geez he was good today or you're going where were was Andy today. Games where a player who spends most of the time on the field gets only 5 possessions aren't acceptable. Yes he had 11 tackles and in that sense he was important in shutting down Port's run but the best run-with players like Ling and Kirk if that was Krakouer's role on the weekend still get enough footy themselves to hurt their opponent the other way.

In my humble opinion if Rodan had not suffered that season ending injury Krak would have spent a lot of time at Coburg this year

imo , rodan still has to be judged, i know terry loved his work ethic, but over the past yrs he just looked flashy and always ran sideways and isnt as fast as he thinks he is, his legs go a million miles an hr but he still dosnt get far. will be intersesting to see if he improves under terry

Stafford - AWOL all year, time has run out, had been warned.
Graham - been very good but rather see him go than a youngster who hasnt had a chance and there are a few of them. Unlucky
Campbell - been very good but rather see him go than a youngster who hasnt had a chance and there are a few of them. Unlucky
Hilton - Came back from Reco but honestly I really cant see him in our 22 next year so delist
Morrison - unfortunately hasnt had a fair go, cant see Wallace keeping him
Chaffey - ?? Hard to say, how valuable is he in the team and is he similar to Fleming of last year ie expendable to hold onto a younger player?
Krakouer - just doesnt do enough, did play a couple of good games but I think we can get some good trade for him from a WA club...send him home he will be better for it and so will we.

Gilmore needs another year as does Foley, Archibald.

Have noticed RIX has had the last two BOG. Has he improved enough to be able to play AFL? And if so I have a feeling the Blues will pick him up as they have a reputation of picking up "reserve" players from other teams and he did get BOG against them last week so they will be aware of him. I think the answer is no but do we have any say in selecting him b4 other clubs or is it 1st in best dressed?

kraks plays about 3 great games a year.
The rest are average or below par.

Time for someone new to believe in his bloodline.

As Rix isn't on our rookie list he can be drafted by anyone at any stage as long as he nominates of course.I agree he's improved but I wouldn't be using an early pick on him. Would be a late third round pick at best

dont get u guys, all this talk about trading krak, well then we must trade sugar as well. krak has had a far better yr and been more valuable in certain games than our captain! gees, as soon as krak has a below par game everyone is up his arse! this guy is a footballer with a gr8 footy brain and has the skills to boot! two things our captain does not possess! instead of all the lets get ris of krak the facts are he is a freakish talent and must stay!
lets get serious
we must look to our future and we need a fwd pocket freak in our team who can go onball!!!
the players that are not part of the future are the ones that must be traded and let go, whether they have had a gr8 yr, been fantastic or had gr8 history with us should not matter! this yr terry must be as ruthless as last yr and chop at least 10 more head! now one must not use their heart in this situation , we have to think about or team in the future and let even some big names go. ok for stage 2 or our rebuilding process we must trade/delist/retire  these names
gaspar
kellaway
hall
graham
campbell
tivendale
morrison
chaffey
hilton
stafford

the above mentioned names have had enough time and most of them age and wear an tear are also  factors.
i know some names in this list may offend, but they are not part of the bigger picture

we are meant to be developing young kids they cannot stay at coburg 4 ever
thursfieild shulz moore jackson graham newman bowden graham hartigan sugar are just some names that can make our defence next season , then we have guys like archibald,  etc as backups and any new kids we pick up.

patterson is ready to take over as teh third ruck and play instead of stafford, meyer is ready, bling will hopefully have an injury fre season, raines can tag and play onball rather than chaffey, if gilmore syas injury free he can take over the crap tivendale. rodan could also be a tagger and onballer next yr.
we have the players to cover the 10 delistings.

this yr terry has kept many of them in in hope we make the finals but thats wher it ends , it was for a short term boost up the ladder. next yr all the kids will have been through 2 pre seasons and will be more ready more hungry and more skillful than what we have now.
just my thoughts

Krak's stats for the year:

11.35 possies per game
3.89 tackles per game
1.24 goals per game

IMO he has been ok-to-poor, but he hasn't been any worse than Pettifer who has somewhat similar stats. if we counter Pettifer's effective long kicking with Krakouer's defensive work I'd say they've been about even.

Both need to be put through the preseason of their lives or face time at Coburg next year and a possible delisting at the end of the year.

Have you noticed that Rix is the only unlisted Player with a mentor at Richmond . ( maybe they have something in mind)

I agree,but kraks isn't that.

Tuff having to live up to his dads magic especially when he falls short of the mark.

I like the kid but he aint all that.
