North Melbourne v Adelaide

As we know, North wins this and our destiny is in our own hands.

Wouldn't hurt if ...

Gold Coast defeat Essendon,

Carlton defeat Essendon,

Is there any chance Sydney will "rest players" come Round 23?

Need to get on Geelong to beat Hawthorn next week as well, give Sydney a 2 game break on them and increase chance of resting players in last round.

I hate that our fate is not in our own hands. A few clubs around us have helped by losing but North need to smash Adelaide now. If they win by 60 and we do likewise to the Saints then we could still get in on percentage even if we don't beat Sydney.

I will be happy with two wins over the next two weeks either way. Time to death-ride the pies, GC and the Crows.  :pray

Would rather Geelong beat Hawthorn too. Leaves Sydney a game and % clear of both Hawthorn and Geelong going into the last game. Either way Sydney first and Hawthorn and Geelong would play in Week 1 of finals. Especially if Sydney boost their % break on Hawthorn by having a big win over the Dogs next week so even a narrow loss to Sydney in Round 23 won't dislodge them from top spot. :thumbsup

Agree,
Insipid spiteful club. Would rather we suffer than take the 4 points. Hope we make finals only to knock them out come week . :shh

Can see them losing in a slog 7 22 64 to 10 5 65 to keep us out. Then talk about Skataboner Spirit and kick 25 4 154 against Melbourne in Round 23 and then lose in Week 1 by plenty to either Adelaide or Essendrugs.

thats what I'm thinking. Adelaide will win and win well. Norf are absolutely zero chance of winning this game and tbh are probably going to throw it so RFC miss the finals. Boomer would be lucking his chapped lips at the prospect of norf losing
