This is a great thread and in reality identifies some if our issues. Culture, Port identifying players like Monfries and White, while we get Thomas and Hampson, Port taking a balanced risk on Hinkley, Port obviously have a very good team looking at league recycled players, Dimma picks up players he knew during his Port time, we did well picking up Miles, but our favourites culture is evident in that it took so long to play Miles when blind Freddy could see what we all now know.
Our recruiting dept and list management is what should be overhauled drastically IMMEDIATELY, we have money, identify the best list management people and get them to RFC, Also our match selection panel needs a massive rocket up their backsides, esp putting Newman into that final team.
Thats my rant and as an aside, Freo must also be scratching their heads this morning.
