While it's nice to win, it doesn't get us 4 points so it's better to get games into our recruits and lesser lights. I don't want to see our guns getting injured in a meaningless game too.

To see the kids play their first game and see what they can do. Short (first half) and Castagna stood out.
It was the first game I've seen Lennon get a fair bit of footy at AFL level.
Hunt was good and will be a valuable addition to our full strength midfield.
Miles looks like he won't be a one year wonder.
Knights adds class when he's fit.
Elton seems to have improved in defence.

Importantly, no injuries!

thought we did really well today. found some players ... overall we got more out of today than the hapless bullies. seems we added to the pace of our team, overall a good day for the RFC. It will be fun watching the ressies this year as well as the seniors.
