According to the Geelong Advertiser, we only play the Cats once next year.

They don't say, however, whether it'll be a home game or away. If it's away then it'll be at Kardinia Park  :scream as the Cats only have 3 home games not down in Geelong (i.e. Haw & Coll at the MCG and Carlton at Etihad).

Yep I reckon playing thefe is most likely the case now.
And what better way to snap our losing streak than down there  :shh

WP the fans have done their bit if Gale and the other admin staff can't stop us from playing down there then they have no idea

Why don't the blues play down there?? How many members have they got. Bombers?

Blues are going to be terrible next year, they and the bombers would draw the least to this game. It should be them and if we were playing down there Caro would've been all over it by now so I refuse to believe it.

It should be interesting where this is going to be played. Gale better pull his finger out

You are 100% Phil. There is no reason why we should be going down to that poo hole

And tell me Angus how do they stop us playing there exactly?

Teams wishlists are submitted and no team gets everything they want.

If our wish list is to play Pies, Blues & Bumbers twice ahead of playing Geelong at the cattery then we've done Ok

Agree.
If we are any good, we can beat them down there anyway.

Very simple WP

The same way the Pies do it. Why is it that none of the other big clubs play down there and haven't for a very long time. Supporter numbers don't lie.

Y&B we can't even beat the dees in a Hafey tribute game so the cattery will be a disaster, assuming we get drawn to play there that is. We are not that good mate

I don't think we are that good but it's at least a standard they should be aiming to achieve.

"The way the Pies do it"? What by doing what? Nothing?  because year after year the Cats as part of their "wish list" request to play a home game against the Pies at the MCG, so I am not sure how you can give credit to the Pies

And funny I thought we played Melb in the Hafey tribute match not Geelong

Rumours around that we are playing away to North in Hobart and away to Geelong at Kardinia Park. We'll find out tomorrow if that's true.
