There is the proof, so admit you were wrong and lets move on.
wrong nope. i took the ages from the start of the yr and hawthorn for the entire 2014 season had a younger overall list of that im right.

as of right now then yes im wrong we have a slightly younger list. but the lists are skewed atm.

to finish no i did not make the case that cotchin would want to go hawthorn because they had a younger list. judge argued cotchin would never want to go there because of the age of their list.
i was making the point the difference is minimal and, as far as i can see by the time the dust settles on the drafts and and lists are complete again there will be little difference between the overall ages of the two lists. in fact if we top the rookie list up with 2 or 3  mature players which is our wont, hawthorn may go into next yr with a younger list.

anyway i dont mind being wrong i get plenty wrong i have never said otherwise.
what i do know is cotchin if he does go to hawthorn wont be looking at the overall ages of the two lists and saying ah buger it hawthorns is slightly older. which is exactly what the judge inferred.

my money is on both rance and cotchin  dragging their contracts out into next yr. if we dont travel well early there could be some upset tiger supporters around the place.

Would that make Gillon McLachlan Caeser?

Can see it now - In the not too distant future a time travelling Charlton Heston from the mid-90's stumbles upon a sold out match at the MCG on a Friday Night in the middle of winter and after suddenly realising the match is between Melbourne Victory & Melbourne City, drops to his knees and cries out in anguish - "You maniacs - you rushed into expansion to the North and then allowed free agency to blow it all up - damn you, damn you all to hell!"

What I was saying is freo and hawks have a lot of good players around the 30 mark and we have few

Not going into the specifics of age of lists down to two places after the decimal point.

Hawthorn had older lists at the start of both the 2013 and 2014 seasons and gave an even older list now ;) sorry claw but you were wrong all round.

Where are the Signatures of Dustin Martin and Alex Rance on a New Contract?
« Reply #88 on: January 08, 2015, 01:34:49 PM »
Can RFCO please explain why this is taking so long. Information in the public is that Collingwood are right into Martin and Fremantle are hot on the trail of Alex Rance. The Tigers administration better not stuff this up. There is no point in getting in a supposed big name at the end of the year if Rance or Martin have left the club.
