Prestia has had a few years more in the system and is much hardened. Will be 23 or so with the next 10 years of his footy life in front of him. Is an excellent user of the footy.

Not that Shiel or Treloar or both won't leave me delighted. :thumbsup

Ultimately when its all said and done, that is absolutely true. Lose Rance and our team automatically concedes about 4 goals per match more.

More like 10 goals this week Ramps.  He was the only reason we didn't get smashed yesterday.

Yep. Watched him for most of the second quarter. Unbelievable gut running from one contest to the next. The only richmond player who looked close to busting a gut on the weekend. He has become our best player this season.
“I find it nearly impossible to make those judgments, but he is certainly up there with the really important ones, he is certainly up there with the Francis Bourkes and the Royce Harts and the Kevin Bartlett and the Kevin Sheedys, there is no doubt about that,” Balme said.

Has hit the new season full of vigor and determination I reckon.

Is it his way of saying to the club SHOW ME THE MONEY.

To think only a couple of years ago most wanted him gone.

You would think the rest of the squad can learn from the efforts of Rance however it looks like too many other players are happy being in their comfort zone. His second efforts are remarkable and if half the team put in similar effort we would certainly win a lot more games.

Clearly best on ground. Held the defence together. Only one attacking the ball. Must be signed up immediately. Rest should look to Rance as an example

1mil or 1.1 no more no less. Dump Foley, Newman and Grigg to free up the cash and replace them with Dom, myself and No More as they are about as useless as we would be out there.

Dimwit needs to wake up cause he is missing bigger picture

Lose Rance and lose everything this club has built up.

we are no where near one with him and thats our problem.he may just want some success.
hes what 26 this yr, conservatively speaking he has  another 5 or 6 yrs left in him. for the life of me i cant see us getting close to a premiership for at least 4 or 5 yrs theres just too much that needs doing.
our problem is yr on end we just havent found anywhere enough good players to build a list that can contend.while  we continue to do  nothing to fix this we will remain middling to bottom.
ffs we dont even have the people at the club who can build a top 4 side thats a hell of a lot of ground work that needs doing.

who could blame him if he went, we have had 8 yrs to build something sustainable while alex has been here,  we look no closer today than we did in 2007 when we drafted him.

id really like to keep the bloke even though i dont see him ever being a part of a premiership for us. its always been the case that you need to build on good players find real depth and quality.
continually raise the standard in everything we do. so it is  imo  important we hang onto him.

I keep wondering why Hardwick spoke out saying that players had the power when it came to free agency. Could it have been a message that we were going to lose our man.
