Since the news sides have come into the comp, several of their young star mids have come home to Vic to play their footy. Below is a list, which I think the RFC has been linked to before going elsewhere.

Josh Caddy- Geelong
Dom Tyson- Melbourne
Jonathan O'Rourke- Hawthorn
Taylor Adams- Collingwood

This year with a few more most likely wanting to return home we need to make sure we are the lucky club. Most likely we will be around the middle of the ladder again so our first pick will be around the 10 to 15 mark, so giving that up for someone like Dylan Shiel, with maybe another later pick of fringe player would be a steel. The fact that he is linked to someone at our club should help surely!!
Imagine getting him for pick 10 and Astbury.

Add him to Dangerfield for free as a free agent and we are a top 4 side.

And lately swap Conca and Griff to WCE for Darling and we are done.

You have to start somewhere....
You put Dangerfield, Shiel and Darling into our side and there is 3 blokes getting a game now that are not then, creating more depth straight away. Do the same sort of thing the year after and guess what?

It won't happen for 1 year let alone 2 or 3. We are poison that's why we tend to land only your hampsons and Morris's.
