In 20 odd minutes of game time -v- someone who played the entire game

And it's not Mendue's fault that Jack ignored him when he was on his own 30 odd metres out from goa in the final qtrl   ;D

18 touches at 83% disposal efficiency. 8 marks.

Certainly not the worst game he ever played.

Took a courageous mark in the third I think , going back with the flight of the ball - didn't know what was coming .

menadue, for not touching the ball, still ran around like a dog

caused some panic  :shh

He was the only guy on Friday who had a bad game

* 2nd most touches on the ground in the first quarter, when the game was on the line

* uses his pace to effect game in a positive way ie. spoiling marks

* tackles more than a lot of other do

more valuable than grigg for mine - would not be the first i would drop

I'll have to watch again, but I saw a lot of panic/turnovers deep in defence.

He did do 2 or 3 of those wayne, youre right. I was thinking at the time, damn son, just kick it long down the boundary when in doubt. But overall I thought his good outweighed those 2 or 3 brain explosions. Hopefully he'll learn from that

0 touches in 20 minutes > 18 in 80 minutes. Factor in he came on as a fresh man against people who had been playing all day.
Did see him get burnt by Jack though which was a bit disappointing

If Jack had gone to Menadue would have been a certain goal.

Taylor Hunt on Crocmedia's Sportsday ... [Go to 40 min mark]

AUDIO: https://soundcloud.com/thezonepodcast/sportsday-victas-tuesday-june-16

* Took 3-4 days off. Played golf in Tassie with Jack Riewoldt.

* Wanted to take my chance again at the top level. Getting back to enjoying my footy. Winning games and holding my spot helps with that.

* Played various roles at Geelong. Started in the BP and had a free reign then moved to being a tagger. Most consistent year was 2012 but then injuries, confidence issues and falling out of favour, took its toll. Didn't get my chance last year to prove my worth. Last six months has been a blessing in disguise and he's back to enjoying his footy.

* Asked about the 2-4 start? It came down to 15-20 min lapses. Stats were showing we were winning inside 50s and contested footy but our turnovers were hurting us. We've tightened things up. We're having less inside 50s but we're more effective. Much more pleasing result with 4 wins in a row.

* Perhaps too Jack conscious and Ty was out. Seeing a more even spread now in the forward line.

* Corey Ellis is a smooth mover and silky. Has come on in big games and kicked a couple of goals. He'll learn a lot this year and there's a heap of improvement left in him.

* The boys went over saying we love playing at Subiaco and we play well over there. With Freo undefeated and no one giving us a chance, we went over with a free licence and a nothing to lose attitude. That first quarter showed the boys were on.

* Yeah there's 40k more Tiger members (than Geelong). Playing in front of big crowds and even open training sessions you see familiar passionate faces. It's a great footy club to be apart of.

* Also spoke about the Alannah and Madeline Foundation.

Has actually been excellent and a very good pick up.
