Some people just didn't want to come to Richmond.  Too painful.  A lot of em got burned coming back in the past trying to do something for the club and then getting ripped apart by ferals.  Some just weren't died in the wool tiger people and served as employees during their time at the club and moved on despite their fame or notoriety.  Malthouse and Sheedy are both examples of that.  They were never tiger men, they played for us, that is all.

Times have Changed..

Come to richmond and the packages includes Maric/deledio/cotchin/Martin

Riewoldt/rance book ends

Kids like miles, Lennon, vlastuin

Could be worse and was

Sheedy played for Hafey. His mother was a mad lifelong Richmond supporter who still barracked hard for them whenever they played Essendon when he was coach.

hawks 2 flags 4 consecutive prelims. Record of monkey and his other assistants speak for themselves. Look at Hale, lowden, ceglar and how they went. they coudlnt even squeeze mcevoy into the team for various parts of the year.

Sorry but to include Lowden is just too funny :lol

do you honestly belive that being a naturally talented footballer is important to being able to coach.?

care to explain why?

are you going so far as to suggest that you cannot be a successful coach if you are not a talented footballer?
“For My thoughts are not your thoughts,
Nor are your ways my ways,” says the Lord.

“For as the heavens are higher than the earth,
So are my ways higher than your ways,
And my thoughts than your thoughts."

nothing, but no one is claiming he has, and everyone has to start somewhere, which is normally as an assistant.

OK, Ive answered your question, any chance of you the doing the same?

so far we have determined that you think we should only take experienced coaches, which severely narrows the field.

can you confirm that you also think we should narrow the field even further to those that were naturally talented footballers as these are the only players who can go onto become good coaches?

Nor are your ways my ways,” says the Lord.
