Clubs are funny beast in that they rate players fans necessarily don't. Case in point Short.

I reckon he is staying but would have no issue after the season he has had if they traded him

If he does stay then he needs to be stripped of the VC and booted from the leadership group

*** and by the way I can confirm we do have a leadership group. Source was multiple players at the player sponsor dinner in May

All clubs also think they can get more out of a player than another team.

Looks at all the rejects they took off us and we've done the same also.

Yes, my observation is the group is still very tight. But clearly either disappointed, frustrated about how the season was going especially with all the injuries. I will be honest I don't really talk to them much about footy we talk more about life outside footy.

The mood of the group is solid and they are still engaged to perform. They love Adem and trust his direction although not winning hurts.

Haven't really had much interaction with said poster for a long time. Wasn't trying to bait him/her. I just think unless actual rules are broken or clear insults come out as a result of disagreements then posts should stay up. Not knocking you, I'm sure it's hard trying to decipher what's innocent and what's not

Lol at the inability to actually look at what this bloke is offering.

Hardwick is going after Dan Rioli not Shortsteps. A player who is contracted to 2027 why is that. Maybe he just doesnt want a bar of the softy.

People always looking at the past which was not great with this stat padding  ball wasting faint heart.. instead of looking at what he is actually giving.

Why on earth people would think anyone would offer a second round pick for this dud is Hilarious.
