I reckon he's getting better defensively.

Still not his strength, but I see him winning more contests these days.

Similar to Broad- started slow in my mind but got better throughout the game. Really like Short and what he brings to the team :thumbsup

Awesome game from Shorty tonight to top off a great season :clapping. A whopping 772 metres gained :o. Didn't shirk the physical contests either. Deserved his 2nd place in the Norm Smith voting.

Amazing game to cap off a great season. We all know he’s a gun rebounder but the defensive and contested side of his game has lifted big time this season. Unlucky to miss the first premiership but is now a 2 time premiership player  :clapping

Jayden Short – 8
Finished second in the Norm Smith voting, which would have raised eyebrows before the game began, but played all four quarters well. Was smart and creative with his ball use, with eight intercepts and six score involvements, playing from half-back.

Jayden Short
Was Richmond’s leading ball winner at half-time with 14 touches, but had a few turnovers. Laid a strong tackle on Blicavs when the Cats were hunting momentum after a Tigers surge in the third, standing up. With 25 touches and seven inside 50s, it was one of Short’s best games in the yellow and black.

Was excellent thoughout the whole game.

771 metres gained 6 tackles shows his impact on the field.

Leigh Matthews just said his two votes was supposed to be to Short and not Broad.
The club that keeps giving.

Clear 2nd best on ground. Did Blight actually watch the game?
