I know a lot of you aren't huge fans of short steps, but I think he has been a solid contributor to the tiges until recent.

I can't believe his drop off in kicking and ability to read the play.
I know confidence is huge in sport, so maybe the team is just totally zapped. Or maybe it really is time for him to be moved on.
Otherwise a position change may assist. Wing/hff maybe?? Better him kicking into the fwd line, than outta defence straight back to opposition??!!

Against the bummers he and dow were next level in giving up the ball and gifting goals. Hard to watch the change of guard.

Another woeful performance today

I get that people want him dropped, I'd drop in a heartbeat

But to maintain any form of currency he needs to be playing AFL

Oh and strip him of the Vice captaincy... zero on field leadership

Fine do that and then one of 2 things will happen if we want to trade him

1/ no one will take him and

2/ if someone does trade for him we will get a latec3rd rounder

And you and alot of others on here will complain that we only got a late 3rd rounder instead of a 2nd rounder

If Halfstep still rates him as highly as he did when he coached us then GC should give us Anderson, Lukosious & 2 firsts...

Who really cares WP,  do you think all other clubs rate Short . I doubt very much any other club would take him.  I'm certain of it. All clubs do their homework, they all know Short is worth nothing , because he is useless

And that's why he needs to keep being selected despite the majority on this site (including me) saying he should be dropped
