How did we all see Lambert's return game?

12 disposals (6k, 6h, 7c, 5u, 67% eff.)
1 mark
2 tackles
2 clearances
4 inside 50s
226 metres gained
4 score involvements
1 goal assist

Would really like to know what his exact role is these days

Rarely gets thrown in the cuts these days. Would love to know why?

He is a good inside mid and a good clearance player and we get smashed there most weeks. Has me doing this  :huh3 a fair bit

Good inside mid you reckon?

He’s very outside for mine. Good link player but he’s hardly a clearance machine.

Still runs hard and does his role for the side, another 7 possessions and he would be equal highest possession winner for Richmond

There was that second half against Carlton in 2016 and a quarter the following week v Collingwood where they put him on ball and he absolutely killed it...looked like Foley in his prime, if not Judd....but shown nothing as an on-baller since to suggest that wasn't just a flash-in-the-pan..think he even was dropped only a few games later :shh

As for his current role...been critical of him this year but starting to think the fact we're only able to watch the games on TV this year isn't doing him any favours.... :shh :shh

Plus the shorter quarters would be hurting his game, as he is a running machine.
Without elite speed, his “one wood” is that he wears opponents down with his work rate.

Still very valuable to our side.

Kane Lambert

Lots of the footy and did well in the contest. Lots of handballs but that is bound to happen when winning it in tight.

Kane Lambert

Lambert crashed in at the contest and laid a number of strong tackles, but was let down by his kicking, going at just 20 per cent for the game.

Shortened quarters don't suit him.... :shh

Lowest-rated players: Tigers vs Saints

Kane Lambert (Richmond):
Only a few Tigers were really disappointing but Lambert had a particularly non-descript night. Had just the 13 touches and according to the AFL Player Ratings, he actually had a negative impact for Richmond until lifting in the fourth quarter. His midfield mates lifted but you still want to see more from a player of his calibre.
