RICHMOND (line: 11.5)Jay Clark: OVERDoubt the Tiger fans will put up with a repeat of last year’s 3-10 start. They are a lot better than that, and importantly, a lot healthier this year than at the same point last season. The average games played for the Richmond playing list is just a tick over 100, which puts them on a par with the average finalist in recent years. In other words, it’s time for the Tigers. Ben Lennon will add some class in his second season and David Astbury and Ben Griffiths showed plenty last season. We know Cotch, Lids, Dusty and Ellis are a top-line midfield group and the game plan creases that plagued the team early last season should be ironed out.
Gilbert Gardiner: OVERMust close the gap between their best and worst to not only sneak into the final eight, but measure up against the top sides. Richmond can be vulnerable against the lower ranked sides and 50-50 at best at knocking over those around them in Essendon, North Melbourne, Collingwood etc. Take on trust.
