Agree Dan.  And how many on here were slamming the club for not offering the world to get Frawley, our only missing link to a flag apparently.  Not every good list management decision involves the players you get - sometimes it's the ones you reject.

Spot on Smokey

Couldn't have said it better myself.

I was one who didn't want Frawley and last night showed why ...  ;D

Frawley was so substandard last night. He may as well have been playing for Melbourne.

Hawks looked old, slow and unmotivated.

It was as if the mountain was too high or because it had been conquered before the willpower to scale

it was not what what we have come to expect.

Two prelims in Adealide is the next realistic frontier yet to be scaled.
If we find on the same weekend Prelims in Sydney or Qld then we are stuffed as a competition.

Tigers win tomorrow, road trip next week. ;D

Reid out for the Swans next week, on top of having lost Buddy, Parker and Jack.

Dogs and Crows going all out attack tonight. Adelaide up by 8 at half-time (60 - 52), thanks to Eddie Betts.

Great game. Free scoring and within a kick all night. Doggies blew in front of the sticks whereas Adelaide kicked something like 10 straight from set shots. Paddy Dangerfield is worth every penny. Awesome last quarter.

Was silly little missed handballs that cost the doggies IMO (poor conversion was definitely another factor). Reminded me of how we used to play and made me thankful of the progress we have made :clapping

The dogs vs the crows match reminded me of the footy in mid 90's. Fast scoring with minimal defence, the only thing that was missing was some shirtfronts and hip&shoulders.  :clapping

Agreed. :thumbsup

It was great to watch for all the aforementioned reasons where the team who actually kicked the most points won rather than the the tripe we have become accustomed to where the team that concedes the least points wins.

As much as I hate Sydney, it's been a long time since I've wanted an opposition side to win as much as I want them to win tonight...

I don't mind if the pooaroos win tonight, our coach and players can look on and ponder what could've been if they didn't stuff up last week
