If you don't have the ball. Tackle the person with the ball. It's not rocket science.

I don't mind the 'less tackling style' when we control possession and can cover heaps of ground with long precise kicking. But if you don't have ball in hand you have to tackle. it's unforgivable that Chaplin, Batchelor, and Grimes laid no tackles considering how many times the ball ended up in our D50

Actually was very good for the first half, hunted in packs

But once the heads dropped so did the pressure. Has always been the case when things go pear shaped we don't tackle or apply defensive pressure

Didn't see the game but this thread is disturbing.

Do you think this game really meant nothing?

Would you not think that blokes who are in the mix for a game would try to impress?

Did Dimma say, don't go hard at it lets just get through this NAB BS so we can start preparing for the season proper?

We have been working on our tackling and 2 way play offensive and defensive second efforts and want to keep this up our sleeve so no one knows how tough we are really going to be this year??
