This line in the sand crap needs to start from the top. Hasn't happened and sick of the weak decision making by the people at top.
Anyway, not surprise.

what is new to look fwd too. its more of the same old same old. same dud players same dud structure same dud game style.
not even a 1st or 2nd yr player given a go.

me i wont be watching it. not live anyway. they havent given me one good reason as to why i should.

national dragon boat champs are on over here. reckon me and the dog will heading down to that regatta enjoying the sunshine  cheering on some of the locals.

how old are you willy me im what most youngsters would call ancient.

if i was a betting man id say most tiger supporters over 45 are exactly like me. in fact id say most supporters from all clubs over that age are the same.
we get wise we mature and footy isnt the be all end all that it was when we were young. it doesnt mean we stop loving our clubs or stop looking at what needs to be done.
 you get to a stage where you can take it or leave it win lose or draw.you dont have to watch a game live you can watch it later and do other things.  its a great place to be you can actually be more objective without all the emotion.
getting older does it make me a bad supporter. well chucky the child thinks so but i gather he has a bit of growing up to do. nope im not a bad supporter i just have other things in life that are just as important or more important than footy. footy isnt the whole world.

mate i love the club im desperate for a premiership but i dont need to watch the game at any cost i will do other things i like and watch the game later. i actually am at a stage where unquestioning support is not a given. they need to earn my support doing the same things over and over expecting the same results is stupidity and i wont support it. i ned something to make me want to support em and im not getting that atm. ordinary list ordinary performances and we get spin. let em flog that sort of stuff off to little chucky.

 anyway i just realised its a night game so i will watch it live. not that it matters.

so do you play a fast paced bloke who cant get a kick or a slower paced footballer who gets plenty?

Depends on what the slow bloke does with football when gets it.

most blokes who lack pace but find plenty of the ball do so because they are natural footballers.

natural footballers generally  tend to use the ball pretty well.

surely a pacey player who uses his pace to win possession and burn off his opponents is of more benefit than one who just uses his pace to run down the enemy

geez i agree id take it further and say a slow mid is usually inside or a ball winner,, primary goal win the ball dish it out to blokes with pace and skills. sometimes you are blessed to get blokes who go get it burst away and then hit a target,

I've just got to note that the only Richmond player that I saw run down a Bulldogs player with pace from behind, lay an effective tackle & win a free for holding the ball was Chris Newman.
He was also the only bloke that I saw kick a goal from outside 50. 
I did see him fail & struggle at times too, but I also saw him trying his guts out when others had checked out.  I may have missed some good things from other players, but I didn't miss Chris Newman doing those things.  Credit where its due.
And yet some wonder why he gets a game ....

I've just got to note that the only Richmond player that I saw run down a Bulldogs player with pace from behind, lay an effective tackle & win a free for holding the ball was Chris Newman.
He was also the only bloke that I saw kick a goal from outside 50. 
I did see him fail & struggle at times too, but I also saw him trying his guts out when others had checked out.  I may have missed some good things from other players, but I didn't miss Chris Newman doing those things.  Credit where its due.
And yet some wonder why he gets a game ....     

all fair points mate. but seriously does he give enough week in week out does he constantly perform a rle . i know id be great if we had players meeting all kpis, but we dont we have few, even more reason why newman should yeild to a yougster with good attributes for what ever role we have for him.

he may lay the ODD effective tackle, HES LAID 3 IN TWO GAMES.  he may kick the ODD goal outside 50, HES KICKED ONE GOAL  but we arent getting any thing else.

Well, it's like this, Mr Right.....

The thing with the formative years is, they're formative.
We are the byproduct of base level marketing, Australian social peer pressure and having grown up playing the game.

When something is wrong with something you think you hold dear to yourself, then like minded Genius will bond.

You're really quite lucky to witness such.
