Just watched the replay again, Batch has to go.

Dea in for Batch
Edwards in for B. Ellis
With McIntosh the sub

Would be the way I'd go.

Just on Rance playing in the midfield, I don't mind it. IMO we are very light through there with Cotch, Miles, Edwards, Grigg and Ellis. We desparately need a bigger body in there. We are just too predictable.
So it's up to Elton, Grimes, Astbury and hopefully Dea to take the next step so we can let Rance give us another option in there.
I personally didn't think Cloke did anything too special in that first quarter, he took two marks on long leads up on the wing, which if he wants to get kicks up there so be it, and a mark on a lead that Rance wouldn't have stopped. I think our structure didn't help either with our flankers and pockets getting sucked up too far and not getting back quick enough.

I loved the way he isolated Lids deep too, he is a really hard match up when isolated.
I also noticed that McBean was unlucky with a few kicks to him dropping short, he lead well and I hope he keeps his spot. We just looked more dangerous with him moving around.
I'd like to see Edwards play a little more deep forward too. Our lack of a small forward really hurts us.

Agree with you there.

I think with Maric, McBean, Vickery and Jack there is a lot of tall stuff to cover for opposition., With Rance running around in th emiddle of the ground it was an interesting change up, but we really needed him on 'the whinger cry baby' last week, at least Dimma worked that one out before the game was over.

To my mind Morris, while a terrier, just isn't versatile enough.

I think if we can bring in Griff, try McBean as a floater in the Riewoldt mould (if he is right footed play him left side and create some run, with Jack doing the same on the right side and Griff Vickery in the middle chopping out for Maric and creating more central movementI think it could possibly work.
What I like is that Griff, McBean, Jack and Vickery are reasonably mobile

I've got a feeling that Shane Edwards will be named at centre half forward for his return game. :shh

Titch and Griffs (if he gets through training) are the most likely ins according to Dimma.

Newy is still a week away while Conca will be given another week in the VFL.

If McBean gets dropped after one game I'll refuse to go on Sunday.  :shh

Not sure how Astbury got included in that? You may need to read my post again.
But to answer your question, I'd play Dea and McIntosh before Ellis.. I've disliked the way Ellis plays since his debut.
So Edwards in for Ellis and Dea in for Batch. MiIntosh in the vest.
Not to difficult.  :cheers
