I seriously cannot work out if you actually believe the crap you spew forth, or if it is all one big wind up.

I always took it as tongue in cheek but lately I've been genuinely concerned about his mental health

We need to get a replacement for Chaplin ASAP. I couldn't think of anyone better than Carlisle. Put him on the best forward and watch our boy Rance dominate the competition more than ever before.
Make Chaplin a coach if we still need him around the club.
The club that keeps giving.

Jake Carlisle will leave Essendon, is seen to want $750,000 a year and is not interested in moving interstate.

He isn't worth $750k a year, especially with the WADA thing hanging over his head

He has had a crap season. Prior to that during seasons he played a few very good game, some OK games and some more crap games. Don't think his record justifies that coin. IMV he isn't worth it because you'd be playing on potential; what you might/hope you'll get rather that on what you know you will get

I agree 750 is over the top. 550k is about right for his ability and potential.

$750k you're joking. What a disgrace.

Bloke is worth $400-500 tops. And next year might not be playing at all. Hopefully Carlton pay him $750k for like 5 years and he can't play the first 1-2.

Unfortunately KPP get paid more when moving clubs. He isn't worth 750 but someone will definitely pay him 550-600k per year.

Damned near proved himself as a KPD a couple year backs, was nearly unbeatable for a sustained amount of time. Fluctuation of form came after they started moving him around. The WADA thing definitely hampers his value though so 750 might be a bit rich
