Well we had to play a half of football to beat Sydney.

Today we had to play a quarter of football to beat GWS.

Next week we will need to play 15mins of good football to beat Carlton.

 :lol
Yeah we're already going to vote for him mate, you don't need to keep selling it.....

We won bank the 4 points and move on

We played crap all day and won

As for Newman, after today's "effort" I am not sure how anyone can justify his place in the side ahead of others. He was terrible. Part from one tackle in the final qtr he was shocking

We all know he is Hardwick's pet, the sooner he retires the better. Did very little today and for the first 3 quarters I wasn't even sure he was playing. Has virtually zero impact although I am sure Hardwick will focus on his tackle in the last which will justify his selection next week.

Richmond did it the hard way today, kicking 18 behinds including 5.9 (39) from set shots. Their kicking efficiency in the forward fifty was just 42 per cent, while GWS's was 52 per cent.

His tackle alone has warranted contract extension till 2016 season  :shh

Newman is just pox of the highest order. He plays with no intensity, hangs off the contest by 5-10 m rather than working hard to help out his team mates, even if his opponent does.

I think it was early in the last where he let his man run to the contest at the top of the goals square, while he gaurded the goal line.

Geez who would have thought his opponent would get possession and kick it over his head from 15 meters away, for a goal?

He plays like he knows he can just cruise along and let the others do the hard work and there will be no recriminations.

That is the definition of being a passenger!

I have an issue with the whole 'take the pts and run' mentality
You want to give them back?

Instead of analysing why we are struggling

- just move on... Pretend it's all lollipops and fairy dust Lalala.
Then he grabbed two chopsticks and stuck them in his mouth , pretending to be a walrus

Its pretty simple, cruise and expect something to just happen = 1st three qtrs.
Raise intensity, run hard and pressure the opposition = final qtr

yet most have actually analysed why we struggled (which is the same things over and over )but said they were happy to get away with a win while playing so poorly, and no one has actually said your george bush type statement, except you?
