rubbish indeed....
the system is not about intent anymore....too much emphysis on "impact".
having said that...their definition of impact is laughable....mitchell's knee on fyfe was assessed as intentional but LOW impact?? last time i checked fyfe was subbed off for the corkie....

so we should definitely contest this.....as even if we fail..it's still going to be 2 matches, nothing to lose by taking it to the tribunal..

So let me get this straight. Buddy can run past the ball and intentionally hit a bloke in the head with his shoulder and only get a week (apparently no bad record  :lol), yet Ty can't brace himself to block someone running in because they accidentally clashed heads? I don't care who it is, that is absolutely stuffing rubbish.

What are talking about Ox?

MRP findings were only released just after 5pm tonight and the club have until tomorrow to challenge

Don't think any decision has been made

We won't be challenging as Vickery's "bad" record bumped what was a 2-week offence up to 3 weeks. Not challenging and taking the early plea will knock it back down to 2 weeks.

-----------------------------------------------------------

Ty Vickery, Richmond, has been charged with charged with engaging in rough conduct against Michael Jamison, Carlton, during the first quarter of the Round 15 match between Richmond and Carlton, played at the MCG on Friday July 10, 2015.

In summary, due to an existing poor record, his two-match suspension would remain at a two-match penalty if he accepted an early plea.

Based on the video evidence available and a medical report from the Carlton Football Club, it was the view of the panel the incident should be classified as careless conduct with medium impact to the head. This offence was classified as a two-match sanction. The player has an applicable bad record which increases the penalty to a three-match sanction. An early plea can reduce the penalty to a two-match sanction.

Should have just punched Jamison in the face like Petrie did on Mackie and only got a week.
