Also rest Maric one more week. Hampson can ruck 75% and let Mcbean chop out
We are not going to lose this game because of rucks.
If we lose this game its because of pace and how much time we give these blokes with the ball.

Agree but watch Hardwick play both rucks and bring in Thomarse for Edwards.

After watching Dimma's Dissection I've got real fears this is exactly what will happen.

RICHMOND

Ruckman Ivan Maric returns this week from a one-match suspension, leaving the Tigers with a decision to make on Shaun Hampson, who impressed in his first game for the season against the Blues on Friday night. Hampson's fate will likely depend on Ben Griffith's availability, with the key forward facing a fitness test on his injured shoulder later this week. If Griffiths is unavailable, and with Ty Vickery suspended, Hampson could need to play as a tall forward, even though it is not his strength. After booting two goals in the VFL, young tall Liam McBean could also get a call-up to bolster the forward line, while defender David Astbury has been floated as an option in attack. If the Tigers opt for a running replacement for Shane Edwards (leg), then Ben Lennon and Matt McDonough have VFL form behind them. Corey Ellis (hip) and Reece Conca (hamstring) return from injuries this week, but could be required to work back through the VFL for at least one week.

Looks like Maric and Hampson playing in the same team on a fast track, not sure about this.

Ruckman Ivan Maric will return and Hardwick said Shaun Hampson will likely stay in the side after a strong performance against Carlton.

But things aren’t so straightforward in attack.

“Both (Vickery and Edwards) have been very good contributors over the last month,” Hardwick said.

“We’ve got a number of players who are putting up their hands ... Ivan (Maric) will obviously come back in.

“We’ve got some selection dilemmas ahead but we’ve certainly got some players at VFL level who are playing well enough and kicking goals, so it’s going to be a good selection committee this afternoon.”

Someone really needs to familiarise young Damien with the concept of "horses for courses"....

Yep, pretty obvious that the 200 odd years of experience at the highest level between Dimma and our other coaches , that is a foreign concept to them.

Who mentioned the other coaches? I was talking about one. Do you agree playing two lumbering ruckmen against a quick young side at Etihad is a smart tactic?

Love the NEGATIVENESS!!
Anyway, how can two players get 3 votes?
lol so if Thomas doesn't play steven 3 votes but if he does armitage 3 votes as well? lol
We have beaten quality sides in Swans and Freo, and beaten sides like GWS and Carlton as of late, and you guys are still complaining about something lol.
Be happy, I am, when have we seen anything like this in the past 10 years?
