I think Wallet painted the change rooms too.
Where'd you hear that?

Not sure. Can anyone confirm Wallet painted the change rooms?

Punt Road Oval taking shape (RFC)
« Reply #425 on: October 23, 2012, 04:31:47 PM »
The new Punt Road Oval playing surface is taking shape.

Concrete guttering around the oval perimeter has been laid, and the fence has been constructed.   Irrigation is almost complete, with the new turf to be rolled out next month.

As part of the ground’s reconfiguration, more than 3000 cubic metres of soil has now been removed from the site.

The Club expects the surface to be available from late December.

Hope this is true off BF:

Quote
3AW Rumour File this morning had a bloke ring in saying the Bumbers new facility at Tulla has been declared structurally unsound and has to be dismantled and re-built. He finished off by saying "Thats what happens when you accept the cheapest quote" He sounded legit.

Would be a peeer if it is true:thumbsu:

Given there's no training over the Christmas-New Year period (late December), it'll now mean we won't be training on Punt Rd Oval until the new year. So presumably back to Vic Park and school and university ovals when preseason training starts in November.

Is it true Norf have employed the same contractors as RFC to re-size Aegis Park and that's why work has ground to a halt at Punt Road?

Well we certainly can't use Craigieburn seeing we've given usage of that over to N0rt

Have to say it's pretty poor that it wont be ready until late Dec,

Not good enough Tigers.
It's that simple Spud
"I discussed (it) with my three daughters, my wife and my 82-year-old mum, because it has really affected me … If those comments … were made about one of my daughters, it would make the hairs on the back of my neck stand up. I would not have liked it at all.”
