Here we go - was waiting for this old chestnut.

Let's see if it now goes right through the Adelaide camp next week then.

Some clubs take the opportunity when it presents itself........

....some clubs make excuses for squandering the opportunity.  :banghead

It's when near enough is good enough and excessive backslapping follows what's a normally expected standard output.
The club that keeps giving.

Agree with the sentiment, I can't stand excuses, but if there is any truth to it you'd have to say it would have a tremendous affect on a game like this. I was pretty surprised with a lot of the game last night, we definitely seemed a level below in intensity. Especially considering they kicked away in the second half, and scored last minute goals in all the quarters bar the last (but they got 2 goals in the second last minute).

who knows? it's not like it would the first time in history a virus has gone through a sports club and affected their performance.

Only Rance looked noticably off to- Martin, Lennon, Cotchin, Miles, Lambert,Vlastuin all looked ok to me.. Maric was crap but looked strong...Riewoldt copped a knock, Grimes got injured...the spuds looked their usual crap selves...they might have had the flu but it wasn't "plain to see.."....the only bug they looked like they caught was the one you get from drinking your own bathwater...
