Was a wonderful skipper through an extremely tough time. I rated him as better than most. Reckon he still has a bit to offer but a good call. Onya Newy!

Although I think he went on one season too long

I do believe he was a good leader who introduced a number of things into club culture wise that will stand the test of time

The most important being making those around him understand the importance and privilege of wearing the Richmond jumper; which was something that got lost for fair period of time.
