Someone should tell Barrett that the RFC said no to Bennell; not the other way around.

Reads to me that Bennell basically no to us, just never had the bottle to come out and say it directly

Firstly, Damo loves getting stuck into us, just.perpetuates the north melbourne richmond hating.

Secondly, if it was always a no, why would he fly out on our buck? For a free trip to melbourne.

Answered your own question. It enabled him to attend some after grand final party or such that has been mentioned a few times.

Could be a ploy to help push his value up.

Many reports were coming out that he was being advised by family and manager to go to a melbourne club, but he wanted to go home to WA.

If he is not a very mature or strong willed person, he may just go through the motions to appease these people, all the while not really being interested

No news from WA re Harley, IMO we missed a massive opportunity and the risk could have been minimised with perfomance clauses.
