Notice Gold Coast delisted Tyrone Downie who was all set to play for our VFL side this year until they grabbed him in the rookie draft. Wonder if he'll come back now?

Why would Matty Knights a former VFL coach Cats promoted this year to senior assistant mid field coach want to go back to coaching a VFL side?

Not going to happen

“Tim has been relentless in his approach at Richmond, and was instrumental in the formation of our standalone VFL team, and the development program,” said Richmond’s General Manager of Football, Dan Richardson.

“While we don’t like losing good people from our organisation, we have been aware of Carlton’s approach, and were supportive of Tim through the process.

“We wish him all the best as he takes the next step in his coaching career.”
