Are you serious give me a spell

If you work your ass off for a whole year and a club gives you good indications all year, course u will be surprised and disappointed when they suddenly tell you they've changed their mind. Ryan is a great guy, have a bit of respect especially if you don't know the details

Yes I am serious

Firstly, we are talking about a bloke who's been in the system how long? Who took something not prescribed by a club doctor. He may be a great guy but to do that,  to do something that's completely the opposite to what's drummed into them from the day they are drafted is stupid.

Secondly, he is entitled to be disappointed not disputing that but being 30+ His chances of getting another comtract were a long shot, quite naive to think otherwise

what did he take?

a sudafed? oh my gosh was a flippin female Chinese swimmer

crowley said a few years ago in an interview he would focus so much on his job, the player he was given by the coach for the upcoming games he would often get migraines

was charles a flat out drug cheat?

for mine there a significant difference between a casserly or crowley, or a justin charles compared to dank/hird type systematic drug cheating, not trying to recover from injury but systematically drug cheat over the course of years to unnaturally improve ones muscles

and ironically breaking down with a flurry of soft tissue injuries in the 2nd half of seasons - too much juice too soon

crowley is significantly better at football than grigg

in the similar way that watts or howe are better than chaplin

or kreuzer better than hampson

the phenomenon of richmond fans thinking other players are rubbish, while quiet content to watch week in week out, more rubbish senior contracted players

He took a banned substances, end of story

What it was is not relevant it was banned, he got tested, tested positive and got suspended

He knows the rules and that is you don't take anything if you don't know what it is or isn't prescribed by a club doctor

And FWIW I wouldn't take Crowley because he is over 30 not because of his stupidity in taking a banned substance

l would have Crowley in the side for 1 season in search of a premiership while we have players who need protecting. It would be a gamble considering his missed a season but he is fully fit & training still.

I'm with you TM, I'm not a fan of Crowley but I do think he would add some value to our side in the short term and I wouldn't be against taking him for nothing.  Much more so than Stevie J.

I'm actually still staggered that Ryan Crowley was shocked at getting de-listed

Seriously? Please .. Hasn't played for 12 mths, got suspended for basically being a dill and he is shocked

Give me a break

So you'd be giving positive feedback to someone all year just to turn around and dump them?

Just like I thought Cousins would be worth getting as he would at least teach our players two-way gut running and higher standards of fitness & training...

Only because he'll take Lennon's or C Ellis' position, I'd say no.
