Mark Stevens just said Richmond starts the year with:

vs Carlton on Easter Thursday as the season opener.

vs Collingwood on Friday night at the M.C.G. in round 2.

If it led to Hardwick finally getting the arse, I wouldn't care...

Would love Yarran to kick the winning goal in the dying seconds of the game, RFC by 1 point.

Then beat Collingwood by 100 the following week :D

If we want to be a big club we need to win  big games against the Pies.
Given its our turn to be the home team in round 1 against Carlton I reckon this will be a Magpie home game.

They'll be showing off their recruits and we would want to set up our season with both teams at full strength with plenty on the line in a blockbuster so early in the season.

Are the dates the same for the Blues game, March 24th?

8 pointers
"The money might have been better. But, at the end of the day, Richmond showed faith in me. It's only fair that now we're 18th on the ladder, I show the faith back in the club and do everything I can to put them in front. In the end, I'm stoked I made the decision to stay. I f***ing love this club”

32 point games actually.  Win them both and we're a shoe-in for top 4.   :gotigers
