Richmond:

This year was its first since 1999 without losing a match in all four quarters.

It's nine wins with a percentage of 141.3% was its best result from the second half of a 22-round season. Previous: nine wins and a percentage of 141.1% in 1974.

-----

Also 2015 was ranked as our 26th 'best' in our history.

We can basically hang our hats on Rance, and pretty much everything else we own on those guns of his...

But some would have us believe that our defenders are rubbish ...
Third lowest points scored against total in 2015, 4 behind Freo & 20 behind Horeforn.

Having sat through our worst four or five seasons ever , having sat through decades of despair , having watched our team lose a game by 157 points - I will take our 26th best season any day of the week.

To me that makes our fourth best non grand final year ever .

But some will seek the negativity in everything .

I will not accept a season where we lose a final we should have won. Anyone who does should be hiding in a tree watching junior footy

Mat correct me if I'm wrong, but weren't you the guy that said, at around round 22, that you were just happy to make the finals and wouldn't care about the result?

Unfortunately for many of our supporters the only standard we need to be measured against is the Richmond side of the past three decades and as long as we're better than that, it's all that matters...

If we keep getting better than Richmond sides from previous years we'll eventually win a premiership :shh
