Richmond will continue to push GCS to include Pick 13 in the Rioli trade, a factor which could put the trade in jeopardy.

Richmond are insisting Pick 6 and 13 which would be the deal required to secure Rioli.

GCS exploring other solutions with Richmond.

A solution could be that Richmond part ways with multiple of their later picks, which then Gold Coast flip for futures, as they want to build up a strong hand for their abundance of Academy players coming through next year.

Richmond are more than happy to keep Rioli, if GCS don’t meet their demands.

Richmond want another first round pick, a solution GCS are exploring to complete the deal.

Embarrassing that this isn't done on first day.

GC gave up Bowes contract and Pick 7 for a salary dump. Can't possibly be serious about holding onto Pick 13.

agree tigerland.

i have a feeling we are going to get bent over by dimma.

we will get some token mid 20's second pick back. Absolutely rubbish compared to what he has done for other clubs.

I think we will get 6 and 13 if we play hard ball. Then we send those to north for pick 2. Done deal
For me

Unsure if pick 6 and 13 is enough for Pick 2. Id be furious if Tiges have up pick 2 for that.

I think I'd rather 6 + 13 for this draft.

Good mids available at 6, some KPF prospects sure to be available around 13.

13 is not happening IMO, best try something else. Old mate Dimma will stuff us.

Can we deal with the blues to steal Houston off the pies? if so what? That would be great as well.

Their committed to Rioli and desperate for him play hard ball. 6 and 13 stays crazy for pick 2 to swap it.

GC are desperation time. No finals under first year of Dimma was a huge fail. They will ensure they play finals. They need Rioli. We are in their way, and if we hold firm they will yield. What would be an interesting foxing move from GC is to trade Pick 13 away and see what we do whether we yeold or pull out until they come trade in another first.

... though a deal for Richmond best and fairest Dan Rioli could drag through the week.

The Suns have spoken to the Tigers around pick No.6 being on the table for the contracted Rioli, but suggested the negotiations could continue into the final days of the Trade Period.

"We've spoken to Richmond," Cameron said. "It hasn't progressed too far at this stage, but I expect to have some more conversations with them this week. I think we'll have to wait and see on this one. It could (progress), but it's more likely to go into next week."

Someone needs to tell this little bitch that we have him for another 4 years.
Give us what we want or stuff off. I would pull the pin now and let him sweat a little.
He can go and tell Dimma he’s still screwing up after all these years.
"The money might have been better. But, at the end of the day, Richmond showed faith in me. It's only fair that now we're 18th on the ladder, I show the faith back in the club and do everything I can to put them in front. In the end, I'm stoked I made the decision to stay. I f***ing love this club”

I would just mention that we are excited to keep our b&f winner and he is needed to mentor our kids , north and WC are buying players in for that reason. I think we win either way and listening to Blair sounds like he thinks the same. It going to take a lot to extract a long term contracted player who is currently  our best player! We can’t lose imho 😁
