Me too!  I thought  Broady minding Buddy was too much for him, but I'm happy to be wrong!  It gave Grimes  a rest from a really tough job.

Was good today! Actually won contests or at least neutralised them. Also provided rebound. I hope this is the new norm!

One bad clanger elsewise a very solid game. Good matchup for Green I think. Not afraid to get physical, mind you I enjoyed seeing Vlas put his forearm to greens throat also :)

Today the news on my scans were better than first thought but for sure someone above was looking down over me yesterday. Here is a photo from the game I came across last night that struck a cord with me overnight on reflection,” he wrote.

“A photo of Nathan Broad helping me up after I hurt myself. An act of sportsmanship and kindness from a good friend and opposition player.

“Broady and I actually started our footy career together in the U12s at our local club Upper Swan FC and then continued with Swan District both with aspirations and dreams of one day potentially getting drafted and playing in the AFL. Not for the first time yesterday, we were doing exactly that — playing AFL on the MCG of all places.

It's Broady's 50th on Sunday.

He's already been apart of 39 wins in his career to date. Almost an 80% winning rate. That includes the 2017 premiership.

Not a bad first 50 games.

IMO he has lost a bit of that confidence he had when he came back from that injury he had in 2017 but he is still a very important player in our back 6.

If you were to pick a weakness it would be defending the “high ball” when playing on a tall.
Seems to take his eye off the footy at the last minute.
