Not that it would suit this week but has Broad ever played forward?

Yeah once I think. Bagged 2

It was against Freo last year when he had to go into the ruck after Nank went down - drifted forward and kicked one goal.... :shh

Jack R?

Jack is playing good footy at the moment, doing the little 1%ers

Jack R doesn’t want to compete in packs these days. Always hanging out the back for the easy possession.

There’s a lot of speculation on FB that Broad is on the outer.

He must be.

Don't know why though.

Personality? My impression of him as a bloke is poor. Good player though. Two medals, would want a good pick if he goes.

My impression of him is he a great bloke.  Sending out pics to his mates and knocking off a talentless but nevertheless hot reality star makes him a guy to drink with.

The problem is the club knows he has done a deal with GC and hence playing Balta and Markov in preference now.

Similar stuff. Close friend of mine met him, got the 'I'm so misunderstood but you really get me' crap, then ended up being treated the same as the other bird the morning after. Never spoke to or acknowledged her again once he got what he wanted.

Call that how you like, happens every day I'm sure, but I still think it's a poor way to treat women.

At last year's player sponsors dinner Broady was on my table (and no I don't sponsor him) and we had a great chat. Found him to be a really good bloke interesting to talk and good for a laugh.

I wasn't much of a fan after the 2017 medal fiasco because I felt he let the Club down and what he did the young lady was wrong / horrible.

But after the dinner they way he treated people that night my opinion changed. He was first class with everyone on the night went out of his way to engage with everyone.

How did we all see Broady's return to the side?

11 disposals (6k, 5h, 3c, 9u, 72.7% eff.)
5 marks
2 tackles
6 intercepts
99 metres gained
89% time on the ground

Nathan Broad

Coming into the side, Broad had 11 disposals and five marks, but was largely quiet given six of his touches came in the final term.

Did his job super reliable gives us flexibility play defence, pinch hit ruck or on the ball and allows us to move other players.

Presuming they gave most of the Saints players 1& 2's , otherwise how ever did we win with all these 3/10 performaces? :shh
