A triple premiership player that cost us only pick 67.

I reckon that says it all especially on draft night.
I’m happy with whoever we pick- even in a year when most of the boys haven’t even played.

Still can’t believe we have won 3 from 4..... and unlucky not to be 4 from 4.
Wowee!!

Today was one of Broady's best games for the club IMO. Looked like he took over Floss' role as he was our main interceptor and kept picking off a heap of Hawthorn's forward entries. Used the ball well too when giving it off.

Agree. I was at the game and the man could not be passed. Marked strongly when he could and if he couldn’t he would kill the ball and be one of the first ones at ground level to start the rebound.

Agree MT. Was huge and looked at ease replacing Vlas. These injuries over past few years to Rance, Astbury, Bachar and Vlas have made our back 6 so versatile.
The best back 6 in output and flexibility in the last 30 years.
“I find it nearly impossible to make those judgments, but he is certainly up there with the really important ones, he is certainly up there with the Francis Bourkes and the Royce Harts and the Kevin Bartlett and the Kevin Sheedys, there is no doubt about that,” Balme said.

Broad finished the match with 15 disposals, six marks, three rebound-50s, six one-percenters and an equal AFL career-high/team-high 10 intercepts.

Although it was one of the best performances of Broad’s 72-game career at Richmond, he again escaped the media spotlight.

But, with three premiership medals, and a winning strike-rate of 79.86 percent, Broad, undoubtedly, is more than happy continuing to fly under the radar and play his role for the Tigers.

Nathan Broad on the RSN BREAKFAST CLUB

The Tigers have picked up where they left of 2019 and 2020 beating Carlton and Hawthorn in the opening 2 rounds. Perhaps an unforeseen tougher assignment this weekend comes in the form of the high-scoring Sydney Swans at the MCG

Career best disposals and marks last night from Broady.

25 disposals (15 contested) @ 80% efficiency.
11 marks (3 contested)
2 tackles
3 inside 50s
6 rebound 50s
3 score involvements.

So many reasons to love this bloke.

Would like to see him try out a wing some day. He's a good runner, mark and his kicking has cleaned up really well.

Geelong shocker aside think broad has been our best/most consistent defender this season. Another very good game today.
